LOCATION
Amunuca Island Resort is a recently opened boutique resort situated in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands. Throughout the resorts design, the wants and needs of families have been considered resulting in family-friendly accommodation, activities, restaurants and pool.
HOW TO GET THERE
South Sea Cruises – two sailings daily by quick catamaran from Denarau Marina, one and a half hours in duration
Island Hoppers – a 10-12 minute helicopter flight from Nadi Airport or Denarau Marina
Sea Fiji – a water taxi service available 24 hours from Denarau Marina
ACCOMMODATION
Amunuca Island Resort features 83 spacious bures, all of which are located close to the ocean and feature mahogany floors, marble bathrooms and private decks with outdoor furniture and a hammock. There are many great options for families traveling with children to choose from and the following room types are most suitable:

Garden Deluxe Bure (15) – located amongst the tropical grounds and feature either 2 king size beds or 1 king and 2 king single beds or 1 king bed and a lounge. Sleep up to 4
Garden One Bedroom Bure (5) – also located within the tropical grounds, some with ocean glimpses, these are perfect for the larger family and offer parents their own private bedroom and bathroom. Feature either 2 king size beds and 2 king single beds or 1 king size bed and 4 king single beds. Sleep up to 6
Island One Bedroom Bure (14) – located close to the beach with a separate bedroom with either
2 king sized beds or 1 king bed and 2 single king beds. Sleep up to 4

Beachfront One Bedroom Bure (14) – located absolute beachfront with a separate bedroom with either 2 king sized beds or 1 king bed and 2 single king beds. Sleep up to 4
Please note these bure types are quadplex style (four units per bure). For example the bures located directly overlooking the beach each have two Beachfront One Bedroom units on the beach side and two Island One Bedroom units on the other side.
Rainforest Deluxe Family Bure (5) – these stand-alone bures are located nestled amongst the rainforest and only 100 metres to the beach and Amunuca’s facilities. Ideal for large families or 2 families, they feature 4 bedrooms each with their own private deck and hammock, 2 separate bathrooms and an outdoor pavilion. Each bedroom features either 1 king sized bed or 2 king single beds. Sleep up to 8
All these bures types feature air-conditioning, king or king-single beds, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar fridge, ironing facilities, hairdryer, satellite TV, Clock/Radio, personal safe, IDD telephone and have showers in the bathroom.
